Meet Corene
Online IFS therapy for thoughtful people.
I'm Corene Crossin, a psychotherapist offering online integrative IFS therapy for clients across Australia and internationally. I work with thoughtful adults seeking to understand themselves better, and create lasting change in their relationships, choices, and sense of self.
Welcome. I’m glad you are here.
People come to therapy with me when they're navigating major life transitions, processing loss, working through relationship patterns, or struggling with self-worth and self-sabotage. Many clients come to therapy feeling caught in internal conflicts and aware of their patterns but unsure how to shift them. They are ready for deep work that translates into real change in daily life.
At the heart of everything I do is a belief that healing happens when we feel safe enough to be fully seen.
Psychotherapy with me is compassionate, collaborative, and paced to support you. You don’t have to perform, prove, or pretend. Just come as you are. We’ll go from there, together.
If this feels like a possible “yes” then I’d love to meet you.
IFS forms the foundation of my work, giving us a clear map for understanding your parts, your history, and how your inner system responds to what's happening now. Most sessions are grounded in IFS. During sessions we slow down, notice which parts are present, and explore what they're protecting and what they need.
When helpful, I incorporate in approaches and tools from CBT, ACT, DBT, mindfulness, somatic awareness, and narrative work. This might look like inquiring about a stuck thought pattern, learning a emotional regulation technique, or using structured questions to support goal setting or decision-making. IFS stays central; these approaches support your goals for change.
My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and adapted to your pace. We can explore deep material while staying within what feels workable. You don't need to know how to "do" IFS before we start. My role is to support you, session by session.
How I work
“I’ve been in therapy before, but this was the first time I felt understood and seen. Corene helped me change the way I relate to myself.”
My Background and Qualifications
Alongside post-graduate degrees in psychology and counselling, I have completed specialist training in Internal Family Systems therapy along with extensive training in trauma-informed and depth oriented approaches to psychotherapy.
